I have a conviction that a few weeks spent at a well-organized summer camp may be of more value educationally than a whole year of formal school work.

I think in many ways the camping experience gives children the chance to be children, to enjoy a time that really uses their minds and their bodies, develops their spirits, exposes them in a safe environment to other people, lets them learn about themselves

Saturday Night Live was actually started with a show that Lorne Michaels and I did at a summer camp in Ontario when we were 14 and 15. We would do an improvisational show with music, comedy and acting.
