You may not submit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.

CCUSA is not responsible for third-party websites, services, content, policies, or practices linked from the Site.

CCUSA does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites, services, tools, content, terms, privacy policies, security practices, availability, or actions. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and may be governed by the third party’s own terms and privacy practices.
CCUSA is not responsible for any loss, damage, data issue, unauthorized access, payment issue, service interruption, or dispute arising from a third-party website, platform, processor, or service outside CCUSA’s reasonable control.

SITE SECURITY

CCUSA may monitor, log, restrict, suspend, or block access to the Site, accounts, forms, portals, or systems to protect CCUSA, users, participants, host organizations, partners, data, systems, and program integrity.
You may not attempt to bypass security measures, access accounts or data without authorization, test system vulnerabilities without written permission, interfere with Site operations, overload systems, use bots or scraping tools, or use the Site for fraud, spam, harassment, unlawful activity, or unauthorized collection of information.
CCUSA may report suspected unlawful activity, security incidents, fraud, misuse, or threats to law enforcement, regulators, service providers, host organizations, or other appropriate parties where CCUSA believes it is necessary or appropriate.

CCUSA COMMUNICATIONS

By using the Site, emailing CCUSA, or providing information to CCUSA, you consent to receive electronic communications from CCUSA including emails and notices posted on the Site.
You agree that all information you provide will be true, accurate, complete, and current.
You may request in writing that CCUSA stop sending non-essential updates and emails.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree not to bring any claim against CCUSA based solely on receiving CCUSA communications.
You may not solicit CCUSA or contact CCUSA regarding any investment opportunity.

USER SUBMISSIONS

If you submit, upload, tag, share, or otherwise provide photographs, videos, audio recordings, testimonials, blogs, quotes, written materials, social media content, or other media relating to your program experience, you grant CCUSA a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, edit, crop, adapt, share, and create promotional materials from that content in presentations, marketing, advertising, websites, social media, printed materials, and other related media.
This license includes the right to sublicense or share User Submissions with CCUSA’s affiliates, local partners, contractors, service providers, marketing vendors, and social media platforms for the purposes described above. This license continues until you revoke it in writing, except that revocation will not affect prior use or materials already created, published, printed, distributed, scheduled, or incorporated into campaigns.
You retain ownership of your User Submissions, but you confirm that you own or have obtained all rights, permissions, consents, and releases necessary for CCUSA to use them. This includes permission for any third-party content, music, images, video, names, voices, likenesses, testimonials, or other materials included in your submission.
You may not submit content that infringes another person’s rights, violates any law, includes confidential or private information, or depicts children, vulnerable persons, staff, host families, or community members without proper consent and any required approval.
CCUSA is not required to use, return, store, credit, or compensate you for any User Submission. You may revoke this permission by notifying CCUSA in writing, but revocation will only apply to future use and will not affect any use, publication, distribution, campaign, printed material, or other action taken before CCUSA receives your written notice.
CCUSA may edit, decline, remove, refuse to publish, or stop using any User Submission if CCUSA believes it may be inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, infringing, outdated, inappropriate, unsafe, or inconsistent with CCUSA’s programs, policies, or legal obligations.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Site content, materials, designs, software, logos, trademarks, service marks, graphics, information, and related intellectual property are owned by CCUSA, licensed to CCUSA, or owned by the applicable rights holder. No ownership or intellectual property rights are transferred to you.
You may not use any trademarks, logos, or service marks without prior written consent.
CCUSA may remove materials alleged to infringe intellectual property rights and may terminate access, where appropriate, for users who repeatedly infringe copyrights or other intellectual property rights.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY COMPLAINTS

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, you may notify CCUSA in writing at: privacy@ccusa.com.
Your notice should include enough information for CCUSA to identify the material, locate it on the Site, contact you, and understand the basis for your claim.
CCUSA may remove, disable, restrict, or refuse to use content that CCUSA believes may infringe another party’s rights or violate these Terms. CCUSA may also terminate or restrict access for repeat infringers where appropriate.

SITE FEEDBACK

If you provide comments, ideas, suggestions, improvements, or other feedback about the Site, Services, or related materials, CCUSA may use that feedback without restriction or compensation. Feedback will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary.

WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

The Site, Services, User Submissions, and all related materials are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, CCUSA and its affiliates disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, non-interference, accuracy, and reliability.
Information on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only. Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement with CCUSA, Site content is not legal, immigration, visa, tax, medical, insurance, travel, employment, or professional advice.
CCUSA may update, correct, remove, or change Site content at any time, but CCUSA is not responsible for outdated information, typographical errors, third-party changes, government changes, or your reliance on general Site information.
CCUSA is not responsible for any damage to your computer system, loss of data, or other harm resulting from your use of the Site, reliance on information, or uploading or downloading materials. You should keep backup copies of any User Submissions you provide.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CCUSA and its affiliates, employees, agents, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or User Submissions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CCUSA will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill. CCUSA’s total liability for any claim arising from the Site or Services will not exceed the amount paid by you to CCUSA for the applicable service, or, if no amount was paid, $100.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under or relating to this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and the parties hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

CHANGES TO TERMS AND PRIVACY POLICY

CCUSA may update these Terms or the Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will apply when posted unless a later effective date is stated.
If required by law, CCUSA will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

CCUSA Privacy Policy

EFFECTIVE DATE

REQUIRED INFORMATION

Providing certain personal information is necessary to apply for and participate in a CCUSA program. If you do not provide required information, CCUSA may be unable to process your application, arrange your placement, provide program services, complete required regulatory, safety, or administrative steps, or allow you to participate in the program. CCUSA will not collect your personal information as detailed in the “Personal Information Collected” and “Sensitive Personal Information Collected” sections unless you are applying for or participating in a CCUSA program or otherwise directly provide it to CCUSA.

DATA COLLECTED

Information Sources

You directly provide CCUSA with most of the personal information we collect. All the information CCUSA requests that you provide is necessary to administer your program and comply with applicable regulations

Personal Information Collected

Personal information collected may include your name, contact information, date of birth, nationality, identification documents, passport or visa-related information, application materials, education and work history, background information, program preferences, placement information, travel information, payment or billing information, communications with CCUSA, emergency contact information, parent or guardian information where applicable, and any other information reasonably necessary to process your application or administer your program. CCUSA only collects information required to administer your program.

Personal information is collected when you:

Apply for a CCUSA program.
Create, access, or update an online account or participant profile.
Complete forms, applications, agreements, waivers, consents, or other program documents.
Upload documents, including passports, visas, work permits, background checks, references, resumes, photos, videos, certificates, or school/employer documents.
Pay program fees, registration fees, insurance fees, placement fees, or other charges.
Communicate with CCUSA by email, phone, text, WhatsApp, video call, online chat, social media, or in person.
Attend interviews, orientations, job fairs, webinars, trainings, or visa-related appointments.
Provide emergency contact, medical, insurance, travel, arrival, housing, or flight information.
Submit check-ins, monthly reports, cultural activity updates, incident reports, or program feedback.
Request support, emergency assistance, placement changes, insurance help, flight changes, visa support, or other program services.
Provide references or authorize schools, employers, government authorities, or other third parties to provide information to CCUSA.
Participate in program activities where photos, videos, testimonials, or other media are submitted to CCUSA.
Use or view CCUSA websites, portals, forms, links, cookies, analytics tools, or other online services.

Sensitive Personal Information Collected

CCUSA may also collect sensitive personal information where necessary or voluntarily provided, including health or medical information, background check information, government identification information, and other information needed for program administration, health and safety, legal compliance, insurance, placement eligibility, or applicable program requirements. CCUSA only collects information required to administer your program and will process sensitive personal information only where permitted by applicable law.

Sensitive personal information is collected when you:

Provide health, medical, allergy, disability, medication, vaccination, or insurance information.
Complete a medical form, health questionnaire, emergency contact form, incident report, or insurance claim form.
Upload government identification documents, including a passport, visa, DS-2019, work permit, national ID, driver’s license, or similar document.
Provide information needed for visa, immigration, SEVIS, work permit, embassy, consulate, or government reporting requirements.
Submit background check materials, police certificates, FBI checks, criminal history disclosures, or child-safety/safeguarding documents.
Provide education, employment, certification, or qualification records needed to determine program or placement eligibility.
Provide prior teaching, childcare, camp, hospitality, support staff, or other work experience required for a specific program.
Disclose placement restrictions, dietary needs, accommodation requests, housing needs, transportation limits, or other personal circumstances relevant to placement or safety.
Report an injury, illness, emergency, misconduct issue, early departure, host issue, housing issue, safety concern, or other program incident.
Request emergency assistance, insurance support, medical support, placement changes, housing changes, visa support, or travel support.
Participate in check-ins, monitoring, monthly reports, cultural activity reporting, or other program compliance processes.
Authorize third parties, including references, schools, employers, government agencies, medical providers, insurers, or background check providers, to provide information to CCUSA.
Provide parent, guardian, emergency contact, or next-of-kin information for health, safety, or program administration.
Submit payment, billing, refund, chargeback, or insurance-related information.

Technical and Website Information Collected

CCUSA may automatically collect technical and website usage information, including IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, date and time stamps, clickstream data, cookies, and similar analytics information.

Visit or browse a CCUSA website.
Access a CCUSA portal, online account, application, or participant profile.
Open, complete, save, or submit an online form or application.
Upload documents, photos, videos, references, or other program materials.
Use online payment, registration, or fee-processing features.

Navigate between pages or use search, menus, buttons, or other website features.

WHY WE COLLECT DATA

CCUSA collects and uses personal information to:

Operate CCUSA websites, portals, online applications, forms, and participant accounts.
Respond to inquiries from applicants, participants, agents, schools, camps, employers, and host organizations.
Review program eligibility, including age, education, work history, language ability, availability, prior experience, and program-specific qualifications.

Create, update, and manage participant profiles in CCUSA systems.

Issue, update, or support program-related documents, including DS-2019 forms, work permit materials, insurance documents, and placement paperwork.
Coordinate with overseas representatives, local partners, host organizations, schools, camps, employers, insurers, travel providers, and service providers.
Communicate with participants about application status, placement updates, visa steps, travel requirements, insurance, program rules, deadlines, and emergencies.
Process program fees, insurance fees, refunds, and other payments.
Arrange or confirm travel, housing, and emergency contact information.
Provide pre-departure support, arrival support, program monitoring, check-ins, cultural activity tracking, and participant assistance.
Support participant health and safety, including responding to injuries, illnesses, emergencies, housing concerns, host issues, early departures, or safety incidents.
Assist with insurance coverage, insurance extensions, claims support, and required medical or emergency assistance.
Comply with visa and work permit regulatory requirements.
Report or respond to government, law enforcement, or regulatory requests where required or appropriate.
Prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, false applications, ineligible placements, or violations of program rules.
Maintain records needed for program administration, compliance, legal obligations, and dispute resolution.

DATA SHARED WITH THIRD PARTIES

CCUSA may share personal information with CCUSA-related entities, international representatives, local partners, host organizations, schools, employers, insurers, travel or service providers, payment processors, technology providers, hosting providers, analytics providers, security providers, government authorities, regulatory bodies, and other third parties where reasonably necessary to administer programs, provide services, process payments, comply with law, protect safety, prevent fraud or misuse, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or protect CCUSA’s rights as listed in the examples in the previous sections. CCUSA does not share personal information for advertising purposes.

CCUSA may also disclose personal information when required by law, regulation, court order, subpoena, lawful government request, or program requirement, or when CCUSA believes disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect CCUSA, participants, partners, host organizations, or others.

CCUSA may use third-party payment processors to handle payments. CCUSA does not control the privacy or security practices of those processors, and their handling of payment information may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

SELLING DATA

CCUSA does not sell any information it collects.
